Natalie interviews Jesse Miller, an only child raised on the South Side of Chicago. Raised with a Christian father and a Jewish mother, Jesse dropped out of high school after falling in with a bad crowd. He then moved in with his ailing grandparents and took care of them in their advanced age. While there, Jesse noticed they had books about Israel and Jesse became interested.
