Phil didn't grow up in church, but he came to know Jesus at 15 during a Burleigh Beach Mission run by Scripture Union. After working in a variety of jobs and never imagining he'd become a pastor, he said yes to helping in kids and youth ministry, which eventually led him to Bible college and pastoring. For nearly 30 years, he and his wife Elise have served at JC Family Church, where consistency and faithfulness are central to their ministry. Phil and Elise have three amazing children, and in their spare time, they enjoy traveling and cycling.
