Where Did Brittany Go? - The Disappearance of Brittany Shank

Published 9 months, 1 week ago
Description

On the night of November 30, 2018, 23-year-old Brittany Nichole (Wallace) Shank vanished after a minor car crash in rural St. Joseph County, Michigan. Barefoot, bleeding, and afraid, she knocked on a stranger’s door for help. A 911 call captured her voice, but before deputies could arrive, Brittany disappeared into the darkness—and has never been seen again.

For nearly seven years, her family has searched for answers. In 2024, investigators released the haunting 911 audio and a composite sketch of the man last seen with her. Now, in 2025, a new sheriff has reopened the case with fresh eyes, new detectives, and the help of Michigan State Police. But the question remains: Where did Brittany go?

In this episode, we dive into:

  • The chilling final 911 call at 8:51 p.m.
  • The unidentified young man who fled the scene
  • Search efforts with K-9 units, radar, and dive teams
  • Theories investigators are still pursuing today
  • How Brittany’s family continues to fight for answers

If you know anything that could help solve Brittany’s case, please contact the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office at (269) 467-9045 ext. 227
