For so long, teams, players and fans were concerned about the integrity of the games, but no more. Sports gambling has become a real challenge for family finances in all sorts of households, but now some are looking to bet on Little League. It’s unthinkable that adults should profit off a child’s learning teamwork and athletic skills, but somehow it’s not completely surprising. Then we look at the Illinois mandate to provide mental health evaluations in all schools; transgender violence, and the issue of the availability of the abortion pill in Texas.
