It’s Prophecy Thursday, and we’ll read Zechariah 8-14.  I’m calling this episode “Finding Hope Amidst Struggles.“

Summary

In Zechariah 6-8, it’s said that the Messiah will build God’s Temple, which is like Jesus building the Church. God’s people sometimes ignored Him, leading to problems, but God’s love is shown in chapter 8 to encourage them.

In Zechariah 12-14, God’s message is from the Creator of everything. It warns that those who fight against Jerusalem or Israel will be defeated. The chapters also talk about Jesus being pierced and how His sacrifice cleanses sins. They tell about the Messiah refining people and claiming them as His own.

The last chapter talks about a final battle against God’s enemies and the peace afterward. These messages aim to give hope during hard times, assuring that God’s promises bring victory and lasting peace, despite temporary struggles.
