Romans 14:7

For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.

THE CHOICES WE MAKE IN LIFE DO NOT ONLY AFFECT US BUT THEY HAVE RIPPLE EFFECTS TO OUR FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITIES WE LIVE IN

Proverbs 23:22-25

Listen to your father that begat you, and despise not your mother when she is old. 23Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. 24The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begets a wise child shall have joy of him. 25Your father and your mother shall be glad, and she that bore you shall rejoice. 

Ephesians 6:1-3

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. 

 HOWEVER SAMSOM WAS A CALAMITY TO HIS FAMILY EVEN IN HIS DEATH! THEY HAD TO BRAVE THE HOSTILE PHILISTINES TO BURY HIM

Proverbs 17:25

A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bore him.

Judges 16:31

Then his brothers and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the burial plot of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.

DON’T DISGRACE YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER WHO IS EVER SEEING WHAT YOU AND HEARS ALL THAT YOU SAY.

Proverbs 15:3

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Hebrews 4:13

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 

John 1:48

Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 

WHAT DOES GOD SEE YOU DOING? THINGS THAT GLORIFY HIM OR DISGRACE HIM?

Deuteronomy 32:5-6

They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation. 6Do you thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he your father that has bought you? has he not made you, and established you? 

Hebrews 11:16

But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: why God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he has prepared for them a city.

Ephesians 3:14-19

For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15from whom every family in heaven and on the earth is named. 16I pray that according to the wealth of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, 17that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love, 18you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
