Q1. In Joshua 8:3, it is said that 30,000 men were sent to fight Ai, and in Joshua 8:12, 5,000 men were sent to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai. For clarification, were these 5,000 men mentioned in Joshua 8:12 part of the original 30,000 men in Joshua 8:3, or were they additional men to the original 30,000?
