Residents of Washington, DC, continue to take to the streets to protest President Trump’s federal takeover of the city and deployment of National Guard troops and federal law enforcement officers as a “solution” to a fabricated “crime wave.” “We demand ICE out of DC. We demand an end to this unnecessary law enforcement,” Nee Nee Taylor, co-founder and executive director of Harriet’s Wildest Dreams, said at a “Free DC” rally on Monday, Aug. 18. “We demand full autonomy.
