Gary “Mr. Ed” Eddy is a regular fixture at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds and recently celebrated 50 years of volunteering for the PFD organization. Born and raised in Prescott, he found a home with the rodeo and started giving them his time in 1971. He has tales from when the Prescott Jaycees ran the rodeo through PFD taking the reins, all while serving his country as a Marine. Mr. Ed admits taking leave from his Marine duties to work rodeo security. He received the moniker from a 5th grade teacher who simply had so many Garys in his class that...
