How To Prepare For Persecution | Dr. Sandra G. Kennedy

Episode 106

So the question is, why talk about persecution? Because ‘Persecution’ is not waiting for us to leave this earth. It is extremely important that we understand how to prepare for it. Jesus Loves and is forewarning us as stated in 2Timothy 3:12, that everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus, will suffer persecution. Agencies reveal that more than 365 million Christians worldwide are facing high levels of persecution and discrimination, all for the sake of their faith. Pastor Sandra Kennedy addresses at least three things that will prepare us to stand firm in these last days as we get closer to the coming of the Lord. Number 1, because we are different, when walking in righteousness. Number 2, that we should expect to be misrepresented (criticized, mocked, etc.) which is another form of persecution. And Number 3, because of our allegiance to Him, we should expect an outpouring of Grace in the midst of being persecuted. Jesus said, “Blessed are you when people insult, persecute, falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of ME.
