Master Sergeant Kevin Holland’s story is one of rare courage and resilience.
- Early Career – Enlisted in 1988, became a Navy SEAL, served with SEAL Team 8 during Desert Storm, and later earned selection into SEAL Team 6 (DEVGRU) as a sniper and assaulter.
- Civilian Life – After leaving the Navy in 1995, he worked in his family’s business and as a wildlife officer.
- Return to Service – Following 9/11, he re-entered the military, completed Delta’s Operator Training Course, and joined 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force)—becoming the only publicly known man to serve in both DEVGRU and Delta.
- Combat Experience – Over 20 deployments and 2,000 missions. Survived an IED attack and later a near-fatal gunshot wound, continuing to fight and lead despite severe injuries.
- Honors – Awarded 7 Bronze Stars (2 with valor), 2 Purple Hearts, and 30+ commendations.
- Legacy – Retired in 2013, his journey embodies dedication, adaptability, and courage—an inspiration for all who hear it.
