Maybe you’ve seen video of someone holding a dog high and dry over a body of water and the dog is “dog paddling” with its front legs. An instinctual response, but not really accomplishing anything. Are there equivalent responses that we have to the gospel? Do we feel the need to “help” our salvation along? We’ll continue our look at the extent of the gospel in today's study.
