Podcast Introduction

It’s Epistles Sunday, and we’ll read the book of 2 Peter. And being Sunday, we will also have a time of prayer. I’m calling this episode “Living Godly Lives.“

Summary

Peter tells followers of Jesus to grow in faith and character. This helps them reflect Jesus to others. But false teachers who follow selfish desires will arise.

We must be on guard against wicked errors. Instead, grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus. Develop strong character so you won’t stumble.

Mockers say Jesus isn’t returning. But God created and flooded the world with His word. He will also judge and destroy it by fire when Jesus comes back.

So we should live holy lives, looking forward to Jesus’ return. Keep growing in grace and knowledge of Him.
