Story Transcript:
Sl: Sončni žarki so nežno božali drevesne krošnje, ki so obdajale internat, kjer se je začel nov šolski semester.
En: The sun's rays gently caressed the tree canopies surrounding the boarding school where a new school semester had begun.
Sl: Luka je sedel ob oknu svoje sobe.
En: Luka sat by the window of his room.
Sl: Pogledal je čez zelena polja in ob pomoči svežega poletnega vetra sanjaril o svojih zgodbah.
En: He gazed over the green fields and, with the help of the fresh summer breeze, daydreamed about his stories.
Sl: Pisanje je bilo zanj drugo življenje, polno raziskovanja in ustvarjanja.
En: Writing was a second life for him, full of exploration and creation.
Sl: A Luka ni bil sam.
En: But Luka was not alone.
Sl: Tam je bila tudi Nina, novinka na šoli, ki je potrebovala pomoč.
En: There was also Nina, a newcomer to the school who needed help.
Sl: Večina učencev jo je prijazno sprejela, a Luka je bil tisti, ki je nudil več kot le bežen nasmeh.
En: Most of the students welcomed her kindly, but Luka was the one who offered more than just a fleeting smile.

Sl: Luka je napisal že kar nekaj zgodb, a ni bil nikoli čisto zadovoljen.
En: Luka had already written quite a few stories, but he was never completely satisfied.
Sl: Vedno se je v njem prebijal dvom, misel "je to najbolje, kar lahko naredim?".
En: Doubt constantly crossed his mind, the thought "is this the best I can do?"
Sl: Medtem ko so zvonovi oznanjali začetke novih ur, je v njem potekal boj med željo po pisanju in prijateljstvom.
En: While the bells announced the start of new classes, an internal struggle between his desire to write and his friendship ensued.
Sl: Pomagal je Nini urejati šolske zadeve, se ji pridružil pri kosilu in jo seznanjal z novimi prijatelji.
En: He helped Nina with school matters, joined her for lunch, and introduced her to new friends.
Sl: Vsak dan pa se je vračal k svoji pisalni mizi, poln skrbi, da mu zmanjkuje časa.
En: Yet each day, he returned to his writing desk full of concern that he was running out of time.
Sl: Ko se je rok za tekmovanje približeval, je Luka sprejel odločitev.
En: As the competition deadline approached, Luka made a decision.
Sl: Nini je rekel, da mora nekaj časa posvetiti svoji zgodbi.
En: He told Nina he needed to dedicate some time to his story.
Sl: Nina je razumela in ga spodbudila.
En: Nina understood and encouraged him.
