Have you ever seen someone cut branches off a tree or bush and thought, “Wait, don’t ruin it!”? Here’s the secret: pruning actually helps plants grow stronger. And that’s exactly what God does with us.

Our verse today is John 15:2 (CSB):
👉 “He prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit.”

Jesus told His disciples this while walking past vineyards full of grapevines. Just like a gardener prunes branches so plants grow healthy and strong, God lovingly prunes things from our lives to help us grow in faith.

Pruning isn’t always fun, but it always leads to growth. God isn’t taking something good away — He’s making room for something better. He wants you to grow stronger, braver, and more like Jesus every day.
