From Richard, who lives in Watertown, NY and Richard asks, Trump is escalating his attacks on the Smithsonian Institute museums, saying there is too much focus on slavery and “how bad slavery was”. Why are Republicans so focused on those who tell the truth? Is this an attempt at historical narrative control?  Wiping our cultural memory? Should politics play any role in public education? Does the panel think anyone really cares about this non-issue?
