đ Goals or Gifts?
So what is a desire then?
If you donât get this right⌠youâre gonna be working way too hard.
My name is Mr. Twenty Twenty.
Welcome to the Power of Imagination podcast.
This month inside Remarkable weâre exploring the disciple of Matthew.
Matthew reveals something most folks miss:
Your desire is a gift from God.
Not just the fulfillment. Not just the outcome.
The desire itself is the gift.
Everybody quotes the line:
âItâs your Fatherâs good pleasure to fulfill your wishes.â
But hereâs the kickerâŚ
đ Your desire is the gift.
You donât make a gift into a goal.
You donât treat a gift like garbage.
Think about Christmas morning. Or your birthday.
Youâre given a gift.
Is that a goal? Nope.
Itâs already given. Already yours.
I donât have PTSD anymore.
I didnât end up in a wheelchair.
I donât need a hip replacement.
I moved around the world to be with the woman I love.
All of that came from accepting gifts.
Not chasing goals.
Most people make manifesting about goals:
âIf I make a mind movie today, maybe Iâll get X tomorrowâŚâ
âIf I journal long enough, maybe my goal will happenâŚâ
âIf I grind through more affirmations, Iâll get thereâŚâ
Thatâs not receiving. Thatâs chasing.
â ď¸ Your goals are blocking your gifts.
Some folks say:Â âBut Mr. Twenty, I set intentions, not goals.â
Cool. But letâs get honest.
I donât have an âintentionâ to make this article.
This is my gift to meâand to you.
Sugar and salt look the same. But theyâre totally different.
Same with goals and gifts.
Same with intentions and desires.
Way back, Gandhi fought for salt.
Because people needed it to live.
It was taxed. It was forbidden.
Salt was life.
Today? Everyone says avoid salt.
But sugar? Itâs everywhere.
đŹ Goals are like sugarâsweet, addictive, everywhere.
đ§ Gifts are like saltâessential for life.
The whole âEye of the Tiger⌠Navy SEAL⌠push harderâ thingâ
thatâs the gospel of goals.
Do you really gotta push?
Or can you accept whatâs already been given?
As a little boy, Iâd stretch under the tree to grab my gifts.
Now? I stretch beyond who Iâve beenâ
to accept the gifts already given by God.
Thatâs what changes everything.
Most people live off garbage goals.
Fluff. Filler. The same recycled nonsense.
But gifts? Thatâs where the gold is.
âA spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.â
Forget medicine. Forget sugar.
You donât need either.
⨠What you need is magic.
Dive deeper. Soar higher.

đ JoinRemarkable.com â a small community of cool kids.
Twice-monthly calls. Coffee chats almost every day.
A tribe living this, not just talking about it.
Some people even make it a goal to figure out everything I say.
Donât.
You donât need to figure me out.
You donât need to force it.
Just let it give you something.
Like a gift under the tree.
Thatâs how you live more like meâ
less goals, more gifts.
Thanks for accepting the gift I just gave you.
