Episode 613
The Orlando Magic had two major needs entering this offseason. They undoubtedly solved one in finding more shooting this summer. The other? It still feels unresolved.
Orlando plans to attack their point guard problem by committee with multiple players who can make decisions and make plays on the ball. They are hoping to create enough passing and playmaking to make up for not having a true point guard.
The scary part is they can do it. They added far more passing to their team that could supercharge their offense and get the ball moving more for them. It could help them find easier shots and scoring too.
Will the Magic's unconventional approach propel them to new heights or expose critical weaknesses?
