Season 9
Episode 205
Published 3 years, 10 months ago
Description
Author and artist Ruth Chou Simons joins Blake to talk about how we can avoid the post-holiday let down and have a more meaningful Advent season. In her book, she offers a fresh take on the Advent experience; Jesus wasn't born to stay in a manger – he was born to go to the cross. Listen in as they talk about how Christmas is just the beginning of the road to redemption and what it looks like to replace the unrealistic expectations in the holiday season with gratitude and love.
