Ilia began his wine career in 2021 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, working as a sommelier in restaurants and wine bars. He later moved to Almaty, Kazakhstan, where he expanded his role to include import and distribution management.

In 2023, inspired by his first trips to Italy and a visit to Argiolas winery, Ilia decided to specialize in Italian wines. He earned the Italian Wine Maestro certification and became a certified Italian Wine Ambassador.

Now based in Baku, Azerbaijan, Ilia is the co-founder and CEO of iWine.az, a wine school, and serves as the head sommelier at Its Asmat wine restaurant. He also shares his passion for Italian wines and lifestyle on his Russian-language Telegram channel, "Caxap and Wine."

Giuseppe Pinna, born in the vibrant city of Cagliari on the picturesque island of Sardinia, is a seasoned expert in the wine industry. A graduate in economics from the University of Cagliari, Beppe seamlessly combines his academic foundation with his deep-rooted passion for wine.

A certified sommelier with the Fondazione Italiana Sommelier, he brings a wealth of expertise and a refined palate to his role as Export Manager at Argiolas Winery, where he has dedicated over 25 years to promoting Sardinian wines to the world.

Beyond his professional achievements, Beppe is also a vineyard owner and a true wine lover. His enthusiasm for wine is matched by his love for exploring different cultures and traveling the globe, enriching his understanding of how wine connects people across borders.
