Nick Stern joined us today to talk about building muscle and losing weight. He is the owner of http://www.sunwarrior.com which develops high end raw vegan protein powders as well as a whole host of other products for fitness and nutrition. Nick is currently 60 years old and looks amazing. It’s interesting how good you can feel and look when you take care of yourself over the years. 60 is the new 40!
What I love about Nick Stern is that he gets it. Most people who train in the gym are concerned with only one thing, how they look. You don’t find many fitness models or hard core bodybuilders who truly care about their health like Nick does. What good is it to have a six pack or 22 inch biceps if you’re dying from cancer? I don’t get the mentality. But for some reason appearance is all they care about.
Health and fitness are intertwined and in my opinion those two take a back seat to our relationship with God. Nick Stern is a truly balanced guy and we had a great conversation.
