Podcast Introduction
It’s Gospels Saturday, and we’ll read chapters 13-14 of the book of Acts. I’m calling this episode “Shake Off Rejection.“

Summary
In Acts 13, Paul and Barnabas began their first missionary journey under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The church at Antioch supported and sent them off after fasting, praying, and laying hands on them. Despite facing challenges and rejection in certain places, the missionaries remained steadfast. They demonstrated resilience by shaking the dust off their feet when rejected in Antioch of Pisidia. The lesson here is that following God’s will doesn’t guarantee instant success. Difficulties are to be expected, because the enemy opposes the growth of the church. But opposition should not deter believers, as God’s will will be accomplished. These challenges serve as confirmation of being on the right path, and we should embrace them with joy.
