Summary

1 Peter 5:1-6 emphasizes important aspects of leadership and humility within a community. Peter instructs older members to guide and care for God’s flock sincerely, not for personal gain, by setting a positive example rather than exerting dominance. Younger individuals are encouraged to show respect and submission to their elders. Both elders and young people should embrace humility and learn from each other.
