Heather Markel - How To Follow Your Heart When Your Head Gets In The Way
Published 3 years, 7 months ago
Description
Biography
I quit my 25+ year career in corporate for a career break in 2017. I turned that break into a way of life, traveling solo to 27 countries and 6 continents over the past four years.
I've learned that full-time travel is a lot more meaningful than a vacation - it's one of the greatest ways to find personal meaning in life, learn about foreign cultures, and discover your deepest resourcefulness.
While full-time travel / being a digital nomad has typically been thought of as something Millenials do, I advocate that nomadic life after 40 should be an expected part of life, for those who dream of finding what they want for the rest of their lives.
I've been featured in The New York Times, the New Zealand Herald, entrepreneur.com, and am a regular contributor to Travel Awaits magazine.
