About Allen In some ways, I'm a jack of all trades for local music. I've covered everything from festivals like Lollapalooza and South By Southwest down to small shows in tiny bars. I'm also a promoter and coordinator of Big Beat MKE, a unique beat battle series in Milwaukee. Writing for my website as well as Shepherd Express in Milwaukee has allowed for several opportunities for television and radio appearances, as well.
In addition to writing about music, I also am an avid Milwaukee Bucks fan, and write a weekly Bucks column for ShepherdExpress.com.
