Waiting Room  PS 27:14 #RTTBROS  #Nightlight   Waiting on the Lord in Difficult Times "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD" (Psalm 27:14 KJV). I was having a horrible, awful, very bad, no good day, wondering how a tenuous situation was going to work out. In my distress, God sent me this verse as the verse of the day from my bible study app. It was exactly what I needed to hear in that moment. This verse reminds us that even when things look bleak, we can put our trust in God. He knows our struggles and will strengthen us if we wait patiently for Him. Though the situation seemed hopeless, I was comforted knowing that God had not abandoned me. He was right there, ready to renew my spirit when I called on Him. As one pastor and writer said, "Waiting gives God time to work." I was trying to fix everything in my own limited strength, but God wanted me to hand over control to Him. He may not resolve the situation as quickly as I'd like, but He promises to provide strength while I wait. On our worst days, God offers us His best through His Word. His timing is perfect, and He gives us exactly what we need right when we need it most. I'm thankful that He cares enough to reach out to me personally with encouraging verses that uplift my soul. Though the road ahead seems uncertain, I can wait on the Lord with courage knowing He will see me through.
