I Don't Know Prayer Eph 3:20 #RTTBROS  #Nightlight  God Knows "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." (Ephesians 3:20, KJV) In times of crisis and uncertainty, we often come before God with what I call “I don’t know” prayers. “Lord, I don’t know how to save my marriage.” “Father, I don’t know how to help my prodigal child return home.” “God, I don’t know how to break free from this addiction.” We feel lost, afraid, powerless. We have reached the end of our own understanding and abilities. But the God we cry out to is not limited as we are. He knows all things - the past, present and future are all open before His eyes. As Ephesians 3:20 assures us, He “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.” His power has no bounds, and His wisdom no end. So we end our “I don’t know” prayers with the three most powerful words we can utter: “But You do!” But you do know how to heal my family, how to soften my child’s heart, how to break the chains that bind me. You know the way even when I cannot see it. Your understanding is perfect. We may feel lost, but our God knows the way. We may feel afraid, but He tells us “Fear not.” We may feel powerless, but “all power belongs to God.” When we do not have the answers, we can rest in the One who does. Our “I don’t knows” become “But You do!” And that makes all the difference.
