“The Courage to Be Disliked” and My Middle School Days
Published 10 months, 3 weeks ago
Description
When my middle school daughter came back from a week-long program, it got me thinking about my own middle school days—how desperate I was to fit in, to belong to the right group, to be liked. Now I see those struggles differently through the lens of Adlerian psychology and its famous concept: "the courage to be disliked." This episode explores what it really means to live authentically, even when it costs you social acceptance.
