The Tampa Bay Rays offense explodes in a 10-6 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The Rays got the scoring started in the first inning with a monster Brandon Lowe home run. The Rays would make it 3-1 in the bottom of the 2nd after a Tristan Gray 2 run home run. Bob Seymour would make it 5-1 in the 3rd with a RBI single. Then Jake Mangum would blow the game open in the 4th with a 2 RBI double to make it 7-1. By the top of the 7th the Cardinals would make the game 7-6 after a pair of home runs. But then Carson Williams in is MLB debut hit a massive 2 run home run to make it 9-6. In the bottom of the 8th Junior Caminero hit another towering home run to make it 10-6. Adrian Houser started for the Rays and was very good. He was stellar through the first 6 innings only allowing 2 runs. He ended up going 6.1 giving up 4 runs. The Rays will look to win the series Sunday afternoon.
