This book is really fun because it starts before the end of The Creature In The Case, but it's from Lirael's perspective (for some of it, at least) so we get to see what she's thinking and experiencing in the same situations as Nick. She's super into him, and unwilling to admit it to herself, and it's adorable.
Meanwhile, Chlorr is out here basically taking human sacrifices and shit? Word???
