Panarottis and John Dory’s owner Spur Corporation posts its full year results
Stephen Grootes speaks to Spur Corporation CEO Val Nichas, about the group’s annual results, which saw headline earnings per share rise 16.8%, revenue climb 11.2% to R3.9 billion, while franchised restaurant turnover grew 8.3%. Spur ended the year with more than 700 outlets across 14 countries, opened more stores than it closed, announced plans for further expansion in South Africa, and declared a final dividend of 193 cents per share, lifting the full-year payout 40.4% to 299 cents.
