Hr: U srcu ljeta, pod nemilosrdnim suncem Dalmatinskog krša, Ivana, Marko i Petra odlučili su istražiti pustinjske predjele.
En: In the heart of summer, under the relentless sun of the Dalmatian karst, Ivana, Marko, and Petra decided to explore the desert landscapes.
Hr: Bilo je to na Veliku Gospu, i dok su mnogi mještani slavili kod kuće, oni su krenuli u avanturu.
En: It was on the Feast of the Assumption, and while many locals were celebrating at home, they set out on an adventure.
Hr: Ivana je bila puna entuzijazma.
En: Ivana was full of enthusiasm.
Hr: "Mi to možemo bez vodiča!
En: "We can do this without a guide!"
Hr: ", rekla je, puni samopouzdanja.
En: she said, brimming with confidence.
Hr: Marko je gledao kroz sunčane naočale, skeptičan.
En: Marko looked through his sunglasses, skeptical.

Hr: "Krećući uzbrdo, koristili su kartu i kompas.
En: Heading uphill, they used a map and compass.
Hr: Sunce je gorelo, zrak je bio suh, a teren težak.
En: The sun scorched, the air was dry, and the terrain was tough.
Hr: Kamenje je škripalo pod nogama.
En: Stones crunched beneath their feet.

En: "Ivana, what now?"
Hr: "Voda je bila pri kraju i znoj im je kao rijeka tekao niz lica.
En: The water was running low, and sweat poured down their faces like a river.
Hr: Ivana je osjećala pritisak.
En: Ivana felt the pressure.
Hr: Zataškala je strah i rekla: "Idemo naprijed.
En: She masked her fear and said, "Let's keep going.
Hr: Sigurna sam da ćemo naći put.
En: I'm sure we'll find the way."
Hr: "No, sat kasnije, situacija se činila još sumornijom.
En: But an hour later, the situation seemed even more bleak.
Hr: Ivana se uspjela održati pozitivnom, ali sada su osjećali pravu težinu situacije.
En: Ivana managed to stay positive, but now they felt the true weight of the situation.
Hr: Na rubu snage, pojavilo se nešto staro i kameno na horizontu.
En: On the brink of exhaustion, something old and stony appeared on the horizon.
Hr: "To nije fatamorgana, zar ne?
En: "That's not a mirage, is it?"
