En: It was a sunny summer day, and the air in the school hallway was filled with energy.

En: Students were rushing around, laughing and talking about vacation plans or the new movie in the theater.

En: Sunbeams danced through the windows onto the hallway floor, where Johann walked slightly nervously.

En: Very trendy!"
De: “ Greta lachte, aber sagte nichts gegen Johann.
En: Greta laughed but said nothing against Johann.
De: Dann kam der Sportunterricht.
En: Then came physical education.
De: Johann hoffte, die andere Schüler würden so beschäftigt mit sich sein, dass sie nicht auf seine Schuhe achten würden.
En: Johann hoped the other students would be so busy with themselves that they wouldn't notice his shoes.
