The Rays complete another comeback to beat the San Francisco Giants again, 2-1. This was a good ole fashion pitchers duel for the first 5 and a half innings of this game. Future hall of famer Justin Verlander started for the Giants and shut out the Rays for 7 IP. Adrian Houser started for the Rays and was just as good. He went 5 IP striking out 6 and not allowing any runs. The Giants would break through in the 6th inning after Houser came out of the game to make it 1-0. After Verlander exited the Rays went to work on the Giants bullpen. Yandy Diaz would tie the game with 2 outs in the 8th with a RBI single. Brandon Lowe would give the Rays the lead with another RBI single to make it 2-1. The Rays bullpen would take it from there to seal the win for the Rays. The Rays will go for the sweep tomorrow afternoon.
