Colm & Mike: 35 years Sober -  Candid Conversation on AA, Recovery, and Life.
What happens when a retired hostage negotiator, a retired businessman, and a counselor walk past a bar? It might sound like the start of a joke, but it’s actually the start of a powerful conversation.

In this episode of Sobriety Now What, host Stuart Cline (age 56) sits down once again with Colm (age 74) and Mike (age 68), who each bring over 35 years of continuous sobriety. Together, the three share nearly 200 years of life experience and a candid look at the role Alcoholics Anonymous has played in recovery.

Colm and Mike open up about their first meetings, the myths and misconceptions about AA, the challenges they faced along the way, and the lessons they’ve carried into long-term sobriety. They’re quick to point out that AA isn’t for everyone—and they explain why—but also why it worked for them.

Whether you’re brand new to recovery, exploring different paths, or simply curious about what long-term sobriety looks like, this honest and engaging conversation will give you hope, perspective, and maybe even a laugh or two.

Invitation to consider at least one helpful piece of information to help them thrive in their sobriety and to share with podcast with others and to follow and email questions.
