Washougal launches project to improve safety and access on Shepherd Road

The city of Washougal has launched the Shepherd Road Pedestrian Connection Project, a $4.34 million effort to improve safety and access for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers near Sandy Swimming Hole Park. The project will add shared-use paths, crosswalks, ADA upgrades, stormwater drainage, and lighting.
