Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will travel to Washington on Monday to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump. European Union President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary Mark Rutte, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will also join the meeting at the White House.
On Sunday, Zelenskyy was welcomed by European leaders in Brussels.
Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, says Russian President Vladimir Putin made concessions for Ukrainian “land swaps” during Friday’s summit in Alaska.
