Every August, it's sticker season on the Northern Beaches. With council rates come beach parking permits – and the great debate begins.
💡 Technically, the permits go to whoever pays the rates – usually the landlord. But in practice, many landlords choose to pass one to their tenant, especially if it helps sweeten a lease renewal.

Best practice? Landlords: If you're not using your sticker, give it to your tenant. Tenants: If you’re stuck, take your lease to council – they might issue you one.
