The Tampa Bay Rays can't get a win, losing to the Seattle Mariners 6-3. It was a nightmare first inning for the Rays. The Mariners scored 4 runs and batted around to take a 4-0 lead. The Rays would slowly chip away with runs in the 2nd 3rd and 4th to make it a 4-3 game. The Rays would get the tying run on base multiple times after that but finished just 1/11 with RISP. The Mariners would get some insurance in the 7th inning on a Josh Naylor home run to make it 5-3. The Rays would get the go ahead run to the plate in the 8th inning but could not come through. The Mariners would add 1 more run in the 9th to put the game out of reach for good. The Rays are swept as they fall to 2-4 on the roadtrip. Time is running out for the Rays. They will head to Sacramento to take on the A's for a 3 game series starting tomorrow night.
