Episode Details

They say the spirit of Tutu Pele, the fierce Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes, is woven throughout the land on the Hawaiian islands themselves. As the legend goes, if you pocket a lava rock, a pinch of black sand, or any natural treasure from her volcanic home, you invite her wrath and risk getting cursed. Some swear it’s just a tale invented to protect Hawaii’s fragile landscape. Others aren’t so sure.

Whether you believe it’s divine vengeance or pure coincidence, the message is clear: in Pele’s realm, you take nothing but memories. And if you forget that rule, the goddess might just remind you.
