Ru: Красное солнце медленно поднималось над древними руинами Петры.
En: The red sun slowly rose over the ancient ruins of Petra.

Ru: Песчаные стволы колонн отбрасывали длинные тени на горячий песок.
En: The sandy columns cast long shadows on the hot sand.

Ru: Это было лето, жаркое и сухое.
En: It was summer, hot and dry.

Ru: Сверху шел только тонкий, горячий ветер, который хлестал лицо и заставлял глаза щуриться.
En: From above, only a thin, hot wind blew, which lashed at the face and made the eyes squint.

Ru: Светлана, опытный археолог, медленно и тщательно склонилась над раскопом.
En: Svetlana, an experienced archaeologist, leaned slowly and carefully over the excavation.

Ru: Ее идеально уложенные кудри прятались под шляпой, а в руках она держала кисточку.
