Description

Looming over Greece's second largest city, Thessaloniki, is the Heptapyrgion Fortress.  Built in Byzantine times, refortified by Ottomans in 1430, it became a brutal prison by the 1890s. Torture and executions scarred its walls over the centuries with countless people losing their lives here.  The fortress now holds the reputation as one of the most haunted spots in the entire country.  Join us as we dive into the bloody history and hauntings of Thessaloniki, Greece.
