Attorney General Ken Paxton argued in a lawsuit filed Thursday evening that Illinois law enforcement officers should be allowed to arrest Texas House Democrats who have been staying in the Chicago area this week. in other news, Dallas’ Park and Recreation Department is looking to slash $3 million from its budget by cutting positions, closing pools and reducing hours at recreation centers; an alligator was captured and removed from Eagle Mountain Lake in Tarrant County on Thursday morning.
