Description
When Laura isn’t singing alongside her husband – Mac – and their lovely folk duo, Our Atlantic Roots, she also works for The Wave Project based in Cornwall, UK where they use surfing therapy to help children and young people aged under 18.
It’s an amazing project that really does use the soothing calm of cold water and surfing as therapy. And the always inevitable ‘wipeout’ - from falling off the surfboard – is a great way of feeling like part of the surfing community because, as Laura points out, everybody wipes out when surfing!
