Dr Richard Scott GP considers the assisted dying bill, as a medic
Description
The push to help people kill themselves, if they feel like they don’t want to live any longer, has now passed the second reading in the House of Commons, here in the UK.
Richard reflects on how this might affect GPs – those family practitioners, and medics, currently working in the field of medicine, who would be able to suggest to patients that they might be better off killing themselves, with the help of medicine and the very same doctors who also stated that they would never poison their patients when they took up medicine.
