Life Issues - No Constitutional Dead Zone

Life Issues - No Constitutional Dead Zone

Published 7 months ago
Description

Earlier I shared that Jessica Bates, a Christian and mother of five was denied the right to adopt children based on her deeply held belief there are only two genders.  The powers that be in Oregon decided she was an unfit mother.  She doesn’t cow to their radical and extremely flawed political agenda.  The liberal US Nineth Circuit Court of Appeals said Jessica’s constitutional rights don’t go away because she’s a practicing Christian.  Their ruling read, “Adoption is not a constitutional law dead zone.  A state’s general conception of the child’s best interest does not create a force field against the valid operation of other constitutional rights.”  Jessica’s adoption plans can move forward as the case continues because she’s likely to win.  This victory is a big deal.  Praise God!
