CSC Talk Radio # 3702 – August 5, 2025 - Yes, alligators can drown, despite their impressive adaptations for underwater survival.
WHAT ABOUT THOSE SWAMPY PYTHONS? Yes, snakes, including pythons, can drown. While they are capable of holding their breath for extended periods and are good swimmers, they are not aquatic animals and will eventually succumb to drowning if submerged for too long.
SWAMPS have a certain ecosystem as does the political swamp. A political swamp creature lives on (off of) you… much like a leach or other parasite. Their habitat is filled with insider trading, taxing, regulations, (they hate deregulations) … much like a python, they will squeeze the life (livelihood) right out of you! Much like an alligator or a python they wear a skin that is thick and not easily penetrated. THEY have a weakness though… MONEY AND POWER!
