17 Runs: Unlock Success by Breaking Limiting Beliefs with Olivia Chadwick & Garnet Morris

Episode 583

Ever feel like you’re meant for something more—but just don’t know where to start? Or maybe you’re hustling hard, but something still feels off. You’re not alone, and this episode is gonna light a fire under you in the best way.

In this power-packed episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I sit down with two incredible humans—Olivia Chadwick and Garnet Morris, co-authors of the transformational book 17 Runs.

Olivia Chadwick, MSc Kinesiology, is a mental performance coach, certified exercise physiologist, podcaster, and speaker. She’s also the founder of Movement Medicine, a first-of-its-kind coaching practice that brings together a world-class team of experts in exercise science. As the host of the “She Knew Better” podcast, Olivia showcases guests who offer empowering and loving advice to help us grow through life’s messiness and level up. 17 Runs is her first book—and it’s a powerful debut.

Garnet Morris brings over 40 years of entrepreneurial wisdom to the table. With only a high school education, he founded The Targeted Strategies Group (TTSG), Canada’s premier brokerage firm focused on helping entrepreneurs protect and grow their wealth through life insurance strategies. At 40, Garnet lost 130 pounds, sparking a lifelong passion for personal growth, fitness, and mindset. He’s living proof that it’s never too late to change your story. 17 Runs is also his first book.

We dive into how 17 Runs came to life, the real stories behind the pages, and the lessons learned from both failure and redemption. We explore why mentorship matters more than ever, how to identify and remove self-limiting beliefs, and the importance of building a "chosen family" that sees your greatness—even when you forget it yourself.

Garnet and Olivia also share how generosity isn’t just about writing a check—it’s about showing up with your full heart and giving your time, energy, and presence. We jam on building wealth through habits, living with humility, and finding meaning beyond just chasing dollar signs.

Some big takeaways from this convo:

Your purpose is tied to solving problems for others. That’s how you build a business—and a life—that matters.
Relationships shape your reality. Curate your circle like your future depends on it—because it does.
Self-limiting beliefs often come from childhood—but they don’t have to stay with you forever.
Generosity, empathy, and service are cornerstones of real success.
Humility isn’t weakness—it’s a superpower in leadership and life.

If you’re ready to build a life that’s rich in meaning, grounded in purpose, and fueled by connection—this episode is for you.

What does Happy Hustlin mean to you?
Garnet says it's kind of how I live my life. I never take my foot off the gas and I keep my life in balance. You can work hard and still have a beautiful life. And so I think that we just need to focus on doing good for others and things kind of have a way of working out.

Olivia says we must keep our foot on the gas. Like Garnett says, like if we believe in a mission, then we've got to work really hard towards it. like you say, enjoy the journey, become the best version of yourself in the process and do the best you can.
