Proceedings at Dublin’s High Court have now drawn to a close in the fallout from a handshake deal gone sour. At stake – the centuries old 750-acre Barne Estate in Tipperary, which both Magnier and Regan lay claim to. Befitting of a dramatic trial, the final days saw Maurice Regan take the stand, batting back perceived slights on his character while seeking to justify his own pointed remarks.
