Description

Scott looks at his experience at last night’s Town Hall event and shares conversations he had with other attendees. Scott asks as Christians when do they know that a battle is worth being fought? Scott reminds listeners to continue to filter out and fight for what matters most to Jesus and fighting for things that are true. California Gov. Gavin Newsom will appoint Laphonza Butler, the president of EMILY’s List, to fill the late Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s Senate seat. Laphoza Butler has a history of working to elect Democratic women who support abortion rights. Newsom had also claimed that he would appoint a black woman when the seat became available and looks at the other options he had. Scott asks listeners what they think of the nomination? Scott believes the nomination has nothing to do with her skin color but on someone who has a strong Pro-abortion stance. Scott reminds listeners that we must not fall into identity politics and come together under Christ. US House Representative Jamaal Bowman is under investigation for pulling a fire alarm on Saturday and forcing the evacuation of parts of the US Capitol ahead of an important budget vote in the chamber. Scott asks listeners if they’ve ever done something outlandish to get out of a commitment?
